Who can see your data
You and the leaders you invite. Editors can see and change everything in your ministries, but not billing or team access. You can remove a leader at any time. See Inviting leaders.
Students and parents
Students and parents don't have accounts. They only see the check-in or permission slip page you share with them, and those pages don't show your roster. The permission slip page tells parents their answers go only to your youth team.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored with Google Firebase.
AI
Two optional helpers use AI: AI assist in Sermons, and Captions for social posts. Both use Claude from Anthropic, and only when you use them. Everything else in TMYG works without AI.
Your copy of your data
Download a full backup whenever you like, or export your roster as a spreadsheet. You can also delete all of a ministry's data. See Backup.
