Messages and parent emails

Write to a parent

1. Choose New message.
2. Choose a student. If their parent's name and email are on file, TMYG fills them in. You can also type them.
3. Write your message and choose Send message.

Where replies go

Messages are sent as email. When a parent replies, the reply goes to the email address you sign in with, not into TMYG.

Conversations

Each parent gets a conversation. Open one to send a follow-up. Mark resolved when you're done, and filter by Open, Resolved or All.

If an email doesn't go through, the message is marked Not emailed. Choose Try again to resend it.

Email many parents

On the Students screen, Email parents sends one email to many parents at once.

There is a daily limit on parent emails. If you reach it, TMYG tells you.
