Do students or parents need an account?
No. Students scan a QR code and type their name to check in. Parents open a link to fill in and sign a permission slip. Only you and your leaders sign in.
Is there an app to download?
No download needed. TMYG runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer, so everyone on your team is on the same version.
Can other leaders use it with me?
Yes. Invite leaders from Settings with an invite code. They plan with you and see the same students, calendar and nights. You can remove someone at any time.
Who can see my students’ information?
You and the leaders you invite. Parents and students only see the check-in or permission slip page you share with them. Your data is stored with Google Firebase.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. Download a full backup file whenever you like and restore it later. You can also export your student roster as a spreadsheet.
What happens when the beta ends?
You will hear from us before anything changes. The free plan stays free, and nobody is charged unless they choose a paid plan and add a card. See pricing for the plans.
Can I run middle school and high school separately?
Yes. Each ministry gets its own students, calendar and nights, and you can switch between them.
Does TMYG use AI?
Only in two optional helpers: Sermon Assist, for outline ideas, and Captions, for social posts. Both use Claude from Anthropic. Everything else in TMYG works without AI.
Can TMYG text parents?
Not right now. Parent messages are sent as email, and replies go to your inbox.
We already use church management software. Do we have to switch?
No. TMYG doesn’t connect to other church software, and it doesn’t need to. Keep your church system and use TMYG for the youth ministry.
